Company Profile
The current directors purchased the company as A R Miles Electrical Ltd in 1989 and after several successful years, the company name was appropriately changed to Jeff Way Electrical Services Ltd in May 1999. We are a family-run business and take pride in providing a courteous, professional and friendly local service; our main clients have invested in our services for many years. The company has continued to expand and we now employ 90 staff in various positions from electrical project managers to first year apprentices.
Professional Competence
All of our staff are smartly dressed in company clothing and are always polite and courteous. We believe that Health & Safety in the work place is extremely important in the electrical industry; all our working practices are underpinned by the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974. Furthermore, all of our staff have been fully trained in Health & Safety and carry ECS/CSCS cards at all times.
Training and Development
We have consistently encouraged the development and education of school leavers and we have an excellent track record of pass rates of apprenticeship training. We now have a fully comprehensive apprenticeship scheme; we invest heavily into the future of our company. We have trained in excess of 20 apprentices; many have stayed with the company and continued to progress in the industry.
The First Choice
As well as building very strong links with commercial companies, we have also developed a very close working relationship with Bristol City Council. We have successfully completed various projects at a large number of local authority owned premises and often find ourselves being the first choice for electrical services.
